Maki is an excellent chef, a devoted culinary teacher and also happens to be a gifted organizer who invites talented cooks and confectioners share their knowledge with layman and professionals as well. I liked the fact that I had the chance to peep into the (he)art of the kitchen without being a specialist. Her school is a must-try-out if you are intrigued by gastronomic queries or just happen to wonder what to cook next for your family of four.
My daughter participated in one of the cookery courses for children and this week was one of the best in her life as she said. It was fun, extremely useful, people were kind and helpful and the place itself is very very friendly.As we got the cookbook of the week, the family could already enjoy some of the dishes completely prepared by my daughter! Thank you guys!

I learnt so many practical things at Maki (how to cut an onion, how to use knives, always use a pot or bowl to collect the "trash" during the prep phase, etc) that there is no day she would not cross my mind! I am very grateful for being part of the early cooking classes at Makifood!
There is the best and then there are the best of the best. Even if you are a good cook, you can always learn new skills and experience new tastes and cuisines. One of the best cooking schools around, small groups and excellent tuition. Highly recommended!
Maki is an amazing chef and a gifted teacher. She is steeped and experienced in classical, Japanese, and health-supportive. I have watched her and her team in action, and they deliver the highest quality culinary education. I can't recommend her school enough.
